Final one week project

 For the final one week project, i looked at lockdown and the items that became most important to me throughout it. I first chose 6 items to illustrate which i then whittled down into just 2. These items (the phone and glasses) became the starting point for my design. I wanted this illustration to be shown from my birds eye point of view as i was documenting my personal experience of lockdown. I added in the quote to the phone as it felt very relevant to me and filled up the space nicely. It was a refreshing change to work physically in this project as im used to working digitally and although i converted my final design into a digital format, i love the outcome of the hand drawn piece. 

Hand drawn piece- Sharpie and fineliner on A4

Digital copy- I imported the hand drawn piece, selected the line art and placed a clipping mask over it in order to get the solid black fill.

This was the rough sketch that i made using procreate before i drew the design out using fineliner.

Colour variations- These were all created on procreate just to experiment with different palettes
